9ekim provides services to teachers and lecturers for obtaining and extending residence permits.

Lecturers can work in our country for state and private universities with the work permits given by YÖK (Institution of Higher Education).

1) It is not possible to prepare a residence permit for foreign national lecturers before they come into Turkey
2) When the foreigners, who has approval of work permit from YÖK to work in state universities, apply to Regional Immigration Office, they are given residence permits not requesting working visa and endorsing contract by Finance Ministry. Those who are to work in private universities must come having obtained working visa from our representatives in foreign countries.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• 4 passport photos
• The original and copy of the passport (Page with the photo, page which indicates the last entrance, page which indicates the validity period)
• The original and copy of the contract between the lecturer and university
• Assignment letter by the university about the person to follow the transactions of the foreigner

• The original of the residence permit of the spouse and copy of all processed pages
• For the first application: The original of the notary certified translation of marriage certificate
• When extending: Copy of the original notary certified translation

If there is a previous extension, the original of the residence permit and copy of all the processed pages are required.

For those whose son or daughter has guaranteed to meet their needs and care in Turkey or who provides evidence that he/she has got financial possibilities

For citizens of A group countries:

1) Foreign national mother and father who request residence permit to stay with his/her Turkish citizen son or daughter
2) Foreign national mother and father who request residence permit to stay with his/her son or daughter who lives in our country with residence permit
Are given residence permit not exceeding 5 years and then extended.

For citizens B group countries:

1) 2 years’ residence permit is given to foreign national mother and father who request residence permit to stay with his/her Turkish citizen son or daughter
2) Residence permit parallel to residence permits of the son or daughter is given and extended to foreign national mother and father who request residence permit to stay with his/her son or daughter who lives in our country with residence permit

• 6 passport photos
• The original of the passport
• Copy of the passport (Page with the photo, page which indicates the last entrance, page which indicates the validity period)
• The original of the residence permit of the parents and copy of all processed pages
• Son/daughter must be present during the application
• If there is a previous residence permit, the original of the residence permit and copy of all the processed pages are required.
• The original of the notary certified translation of birth certificate of the son/daughter at the first application
• The person to accompany the parents, who have residence permit, must not have turned 18 years old.
• During the first application, if the father and mother are;
• Divorced: The original of the notary certified translation of the guardianship decision made by the court
• Seperated: The original of the notary certified translation of consent letter of the other parent.
• If one of the parents has deceased: The original of the notary certified translation of death certificate
• If one of the parents is missing: The original of the notary certified translation of absence certificate given by the court is required.

If there is a previous extension, the original of the residence permit and copy of all the processed pages are required.

Residence permit for montage and job interview purposes are prepared once in a calender year. When it is proved that their statement is correct, residence permit up to 3 months is given at the end of the visa or visa exemption period. If you apply because this period is not sufficient, you are given 3 more months’ residence permit after the approval of govern orate.

• Visa for Trade or Job Interview purposes obtained from our representatives abroad (Consulates)
• The original of the notary certified activity certificate of the company
• The original of the notary certified tax board of the company
• The original of the notary certified trade registry gazette of the company
• The original of the notary certified signatory circular of the company
• If there is a previous residence permit, the original of the residence permit and copy of all the processed pages
• The original of the notary certified power of attorney of the applicant by attorney

If there is a previous extension, the original of the residence permit and copy of all the processed pages are required.

Foreigners, who request residence permit for treatment purposes after coming with visa exemption, short term visas or entrance visa obtained from our border gates, are given residence permit during their treatment if they prove their situation with letter or report from private or public health institutions. Applications of those whose visa period has expired are not accepted.

• Committee report approved by Provincial Directorate of Health from the institution where he/she is treated.
